THERE IS A CHICK IN THE WEST END NEST!!!!!!!!!!

JudyB: OK - That is absolutely the most incredible thing I can imagine! They could have laid another egg after Dr. Sharpe collected the eggs - the eggs were younger (or less developed) than he'd expected, so maybe they didn't start laying as soon as he'd thought.
But there's only a 5% chance any West End egg could hatch - they're just badly compromised by the chemical contamination. The chance that there was one more egg laid - and it hatched - wow!
